Analog Devices provides security authenticators and coprocessors

Analog Devices' MAX66250 and MAX66301 NFC security authenticators and coprocessors provide a complete contactless security solution. These products use the latest SHA-3 challenge and response encryption algorithms, as well as the NFC ISO 15693 interface, to verify and prevent security attacks and prevent forgery.

The MAX66301-25X Evaluation System (MAX66301-25 XEVKit #) includes a MAX66301 Evaluation kit (EV kit) and a MAX66250 tag. The MAX66301 Evaluation suite combines an RFID reader for 13.56MHz contactless communication with a SHA-3 security authenticator coprocessor. RFID reader covers ISO 15693 standard, certified coprocessor based on FIPS202 compatible standard.

The MAX66250 tag runs as an ISO 15693 compliant solution that combines FIPS202-compliant Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-3) challenge and response authentication with secure EEPROM. The evaluation suite software runs by pairing MAX66301 with MAX66250 into the evaluation system to show secure challenge and response verification and other device-specific functions.
