Expands the range of 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors

     Intel's 16 new Intel Core desktop processors offer many ideal options for mainstream PC users and businesses in a variety of vertical markets. Typical markets and applications include industrial: automation and robotics; Medical: High detail imaging systems; Education: Interactive whiteboard. With the expansion of the product portfolio, there is now a processor in every price category to meet the specific productivity, computing and gaming needs of a variety of applications.      These processors are designed to handle powerful AI and compute-intensive workloads. The increased number of cores in the lga socket package makes this possible. Because of this enhanced performance, tasks can be run more efficiently, safely, and effectively.

     They offer a turbo frequency of up to 5.8GHz, a 37% improvement in multithreading performance and a 7% improvement in Microsoft Office performance compared to previous versions. The i9-14900 has up to 24 cores (8 p cores, 16 e cores) and 32 threads, while the 7–14700 offers four additional e cores for a total of 20 cores (8 p cores, 12 e cores) and 28 threads. Supports up to 192GB of DDR5-5600/DDR4-3200MT/S memory and is backward compatible with existing Intel 600 and 700 series motherboards. Support for box cooling solutions including Intel laminar Flow RH1 and RM1 coolers.

     The next generation of wireless connectivity supports Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 (5gig) and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+). PCIe Gen 5.0, Gen 4.0 and Thunderbolt 4 with 40Gbit/s bandwidth are also supported, as well as integrated USB 3.2 connections with up to 20Gbit/s transfer bandwidth.
