Four channel 18 V, ±5 A synchronous monolithic step-down regulator

ADI's LT7200S is A four-channel, high-efficiency single-chip synchronous step-down regulator capable of pumping/pulling 5 A current into a load per channel. Due to its constant frequency, current mode architecture, and phase-locked controlled timing, it is ideal for high step-down ratio applications that operate at high frequencies and require fast transient responses.

The LT200S 'multi-channel flexibility and compact layout are ideal for powering complex systems. The operating supply voltage range is 2.9V to 18V, making it suitable for a variety of power applications with 3.3V, 5V to 12V power supplies.

Evaluation Kit DC2851A is a four-channel synchronous step-down regulator with the LT7200S. The DC2851A operates in the input voltage range of 2.9 V to 18 V, with each regulator capable of providing ±5 A output current. The evaluation kit is designed for 1.2V, 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V outputs with a switching frequency set to 1MHz. It offers a multi-channel combination based on the LT7200S for flexible output current ratings
