TE Connectivity introduces a Virtual reality (VR) cable assembly product line

     TE Connectivity announced the launch of its virtual Reality (VR) cable assembly product line. This component accelerates customer time-to-market and delivers superior performance compared to other solutions on the market. TE's VR cable assemblies provide a reliable platform design product solution that can be easily customized to meet the diverse application needs of VR solution providers and help them get their products to market faster.

     TE not only provides complete cable assemblies and high-speed sockets, but also provides plug modules for customers who purchase cables from other suppliers. The compact socket of this component saves valuable printed circuit board (PCB) space in the headset, and the equalization amplifier is used in its connector to achieve longer cable lengths with smaller wire diameters while reducing cable weight. TE offers VR cable assemblies specifically designed for VR applications that are proven to transmit signals without interference interruptions. The product uses HDMI1.4 connectors and USB3.0 connectors, as well as an optional DC power supply, and data transfer rates of up to 8Gbps.

     The high-speed I/O socket can also support higher data transfer rates (up to 40Gbps) for future product upgrades. TE's comprehensive R&D engineering capabilities and application knowledge enable engineers to co-design custom solutions while minimizing costs with common components.
