Vishay's new noise suppression resistors improve voltage performance and reliability
Vishay Intertechnolog has announced the launch of a new series of winding noise suppression resistors, the NSR-HP. The resistance improves voltage performance and reliability and can be used in automotive ignition systems in reciprocating engines. Resistors comply with RoHS and Vishay green standards and are halogen-free.
The Vishay DalenR-HP series resistors are coated with a coating that protects the resistance core from moisture and mechanical shock, thereby increasing reliability while increasing voltage to 45kV and operating temperature to +200°C. The resistor can withstand high voltage pulses at a very high frequency, and the dielectric can withstand 1000VAC voltage.
The NSR-HP series resistors are ideal for use in gasoline engines to reduce RFI during dielectric discharges and can be used in spark plug leads and spark plug caps. The ohmic value and inductance value of the device are 1kQ~15k2 and 9uH~78uH, respectively, and the temperature coefficient is 250ppm/C
