AKM's 32-bit, 768 kHz sampling, differential input A/D converter is ideal for digital audio systems

AKM's AK5578EN is A 32-bit, 768 kHz sampling, differential input A/D converter for digital audio systems. It achieves a dynamic range of 121 dB and 112 dB S/(N+D) while maintaining low power consumption.

The AK5578EN incorporates an 8-channel A/D converter that is suitable for mixers and multi-channel recorders. The device integrates four types of digital filters, which can be selected according to sound quality preferences.

AK5578EN supports TDM audio format, so it can easily connect to DSP. In addition, it supports DSD output up to 11.2 MHz. The channel summation increases the dynamic range to 124 dB in 8 RPM 4 mode, 127 dB in 8 RPM 2 mode, and 130 dB in 8 RPM 1 mode.
