An ultra-low power independent module based on Nordic semiconductors
High performance, remote and reliable wireless operation is essential for iot applications. With iVativ's NEVA module, Rutronix offers components specifically designed for this purpose. Typical application examples include direction finding, personal fitness devices, wireless payment wearables, connected health, AR/VR applications, smart home sensors and controls, industrial iot sensors and asset trackers, and localized devices.
NEVA is an ultra-low power independent module based on Nordic semiconductor nRF52833. It supports both Bluetooth 5.4, 802.15.4 Thread, and ZigBee, and offers integrated NFC-A tags. The efficient development environment makes the module ideal for many iot industry applications, such as home automation, wearables, industrial iot and smart healthcare.
The integrated, high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 features 512kB of flash memory and 128kB of RAM to reduce system costs and provide design flexibility. With the integrated wireless and networking stack, application apis and security features supported by the ARM Trust Zone Cryptocell-310, the module reduces time to market and development costs.
The module has a small footprint of 10mm x 15mm x 1.6mm with an integrated PCB antenna or MHF4 connector and a range of more than 1,400 meters. The device also has extremely low power consumption of 450nA in deep sleep mode, 1.5µA in system standby mode, and 4.8mA at 0dBm output power.
