Bourns' new Riedon modular fuse holder meets Class-T and ANL requirements

     Bourns, a global leader in the manufacture of electronic components for power, protection and sensing solutions, has announced the new Riedon modular fuse holder for Class-T and ANL requirements. The new devices meet the protection needs of a wide range of applications, including industrial power systems, battery chargers, solar inverters and battery energy storage systems.

     Bourns has launched four fuse holder product categories to choose from. These products include the FB and CFB series, which are Class-T fuse holders equipped with a choice of Class-T fuses up to 400A and available in two end options, bare wire or ring/shovel end. The other two types are ANL Fuse Holder NFB Series and NFB2 series, which offer two different base lengths with ring/fork terminal connections and an optional ANL fuse from 50A to 500A.

     Bourns' first Riedon fuse holders, FB and CFB Class-T series fuse holders offer flexibility and modular design to suit a wide range of application requirements. These fuse holders are made of high-quality materials including tin-plated brass terminals, fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate mounting bases, clear polycarbonate safety covers, and stainless steel mounting hardware.

     In particular, the compact 3.4-inch NFB Series fuse holder features a heavy-duty phenolic plastic base, while the NFB2 series is 6.5 inches long and uses a glass-fiber-filled polycarbonate base. In addition, the NFB and NFB2 series ANL fuse holders are equipped with a transparent polycarbonate safety cover and stainless steel connection and mounting hardware to further enhance product durability and service life.
