Compact dual low-voltage differential regulators provide high accuracy and low static current

     Diodes Incorporated introduces the dual 300mA Low Voltage Difference (LDO) regulator AP7344, offering high output voltage accuracy of 1% and low static current of 50µA. The low-voltage differential regulator comes in a compact package and is suitable for battery-powered consumer products such as cameras, smartphones and tablets.

     The AP7344 supports input voltages from 1.7V to 5.25V, enabling it to support all lithium-ion batteries commonly used in portable electronics. The new device also offers a regulated output voltage, VOUT, which can be fixed between 1.2V and 3.6V and achieve 1% accuracy at +25 oC, while also pushing 300mA loads. Other key benefits include: low on-resistance; High power supply rejection ratio of 75dB at 1kHz; And low output noise of 60µVrms. In addition, its low static current of 50µA helps to save energy and extend battery life.

     The AP7344 is available in a small X2-DFN1612-8 package, making it ideal for the dense printed circuit board layouts common in portable electronics. The device replaces comparable industry-standard low-voltage differential regulators, providing the same performance at a lower cost and higher efficiency in light load operations.
