     Cypress Semiconductor announced the launch of a Combo solution for in-vehicle wireless connectivity that provides robust and stable 2x2MIMO802.11acWi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for vehicles, enabling multiple users to connect devices simultaneously and deliver content independently on their own devices.

     The Cypress CYW89359Combo solution is the first in the industry to use real-time synchronous dual-band (RSDB) technology. By integrating two complete Wi-Fi subsystems into a single chip, it enables two independent data streams to run simultaneously at full throughput. The advanced 2.4-GHzWi-Fi and Bluetooth co-existence engine delivers optimal performance for both 2.4-ghz and 5-GHZ 802.11acWi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

     The RSDB architecture of the CYW89359Combo solution enables applications such as Apple CarPlay and Wi-Fi hotspots to run simultaneously without performance degradation due to real-time switching of radio frequency (RF) bands commonly required by today's devices. Cypress CYW89359 is fully AECQ-100grade-3 certified for the automotive industry and is currently being designed as a complete in-vehicle connectivity solution by several top automotive manufacturers and suppliers. To support infotainment and telematics applications such as smartphone screen mirroring, content data streaming, and Bluetooth voice connectivity in car kits.
