Expansion board designed for STM32 Nucleo

STMicroelectronics' X-NUCLEO-LED12A1 expansion board for STM32 Nucleo is designed to drive up to 48 leds through four embedded LED1202 LED drivers. Each LED1202 controls up to 12 LED channels, has low static current, and guarantees 5 V output drive capability. Each channel can sink to 20 mA, with only 350 mV(typical) headroom voltage, and the ability to adjust the output current through 8-bit analog and 12-digit word dimming control.

The kit includes an additional LED panel with two LED arrays: a 6x8 white LED matrix and a 4x4 RGB matrix. The LED array can be powered from an external power source to achieve maximum usable brightness. X-NUCLEO-LED12A1 comes with the X-Cub-Led12A1 SW package that allows users to evaluate the performance of LED drivers and develop custom applications.
