Molex expands its healthcare business with innovative new features

     Molex has expanded its reach in the Medical sector through two major acquisitions: ProTek Medical Ltd., a contract engineering design and manufacturing company specializing in custom solutions for medical device manufacturers in the global medical industry; In addition, the company acquired certain assets of Soligie, Inc., a developer of flexible printed electronic solutions for medical applications in a wide range of industries, including diagnostics, electrocardiogram leads, surgical devices/instruments and wearable sensors. Other acquisitions that have helped expand the company's Medical business include Polymicro Technologies, Temp-Flex specialized wire and cable, Affinity Medical Technologies, and FCT Electronics Group.
