Molex introduces the Woodhead Super-Safeway portable power system

     Molex introduces the Woodhead Super-Safeway Portable Power system, which combines the durability of a Woodhead power box, the reliability of Woodhead cabling equipment and the innovative Woodhead Safety cable protector into a single integrated solution. Suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.

"The combination of two product solutions from Woodhead's Safeway and Super-Safeway brands makes this portable power system a highly flexible and powerful device."

     The Woodhead Super-Safeway power box has a vulcanized rubber housing that is well resistant to vibration, shock and corrosion. The power box weighs only 29 pounds, and the aluminum feet not only help to reduce the weight of the power box, but also provide six inches of ground clearance. This and other product features make Woodhead Super Safeway Portable Power systems compliant with UL, CSA, NEC and OSHA standards for portable power delivery systems for construction sites.

     The power box also features color-coded straight leaf sockets to help users balance the load between phases, while the connectivity feature allows multiple power boxes to be set up on a single feeder line. Woodhead cabling solutions include tilting receptacles /GFCI outlet boxes, 3-phase longitudinal reinforcement strips, and 50-amp power cords. The longitudinally-reinforced strip sockets are also color-coded for easy 3-phase identification.

     The Woodhead Safeway cable protection system has a 5-channel design that can accommodate up to 1.25 "diameter cables (center channel of 1.625" diameter cables) and features a convenient hinged cover for easy handling, placement and removal of all cables. In addition, the cable protectors are extremely strong, with a load capacity of 163,000 pounds per wire, and the UV-stabilized materials used are well resistant to sunlight.
