Recom introduces RACM30-K / 277 series rated at 30W

     The RACM30-K/277 series comes with industry standard PCB-mounted pins and is compatible with the RAC20 series for power upgrades, while also available in a fly line version suitable for 60mm wall mount. Panel mounting versions with push-in spring terminals accept the use of hard and stranded wires, with optional clip fittings for DIN rail mounting. The RACM series adds the RACM30-K/277 series, rated at 30W (36W peak), with a 1.6 "x 2" x 1 "(40 x 52.5 x 25.5mm) housing size, setting a new benchmark of 9.2W/inch³ thermal effective power density at 60°C stationary air conditions.

     These silicon free packaged AC/ DCS have an ultra-wide input range of 85-305VAC (120V to 430VDC) and provide 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V +/-12V, or +/-15V outputs with complete overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection and are classified as restricted power supplies. Full load operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +60°C under natural ventilation, and can reach +90°C under derated condition.

     These components can be used in overvoltage Class III (OVC III) and Pollution Class 3 (PD3) environments up to 5,000 M above sea level. Safety certifications include audio/video, IT, test equipment, Industrial, domestic, and MOPP Medical with isolation ratings of 4kVAC/1 min, with significant margin for over-EMC Class B standards in the absence of external components, even if component outputs are grounded.
