Silicon Labs' BGM240S/MGM240S module and xGM240S radio board support a variety of protocol stacks

Silicon Labs' wireless module offers a small 7 x 7 mm contour system level package (SiP) based on the Series 2 EFR32BG24 SoC. They support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity or 802.15.4 Zigbee and OpenThread®. Bluetooth and 802.15.4 modules are suitable for the smart home and include switches, sensors, door locks, smart plugs, gateways and hubs.

In addition, the 802.15.4 module serves building automation switches, sensors and gateways. The Bluetooth module protocol stack includes BLE and Bluetooth Mesh, while the 15.4 modules include Matter, OpenThread, Zigbee, and Multiprotocol. The BGM240S Bluetooth module and MGM240S 802.15.4 module combine small package, energy efficiency and excellent RF in one effective iot module.

The xGM240S +10dBm radio board supports the development of 2.4GHz wireless devices. The xGM240S works with the WSTK motherboard (not included) for a variety of protocols, including BLE, Bluetooth mesh networking, Zigbee, OpenThread, and Matter.
