Super high axial and radial coronal capacitors
KEMET's full range of axial and radial coronal capacitors for automotive applications includes the Ultra High CV PEG227 and PEH227 series. KEMET's capacitors have excellent electrical performance and high energy storage capacity. They are rated for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C or -40°C to +150°C at derated voltages.
The series uses a polarized all-welded design with tinned copper leads and a negative electrode connected to the housing. The winding is a cylindrical aluminum can housing with a high purity aluminum lid and a high quality rubber liner. The low ESR results from a low resistance electrolyte/paper system and an all-welded design. PEG227 has axial terminations and PEH227 has radial coronal terminations
