U-blox introduces two new high-precision GNSS positioning modules based on the F9 technology platform
U-blox, a leading global provider of positioning and wireless communications technologies and services, announced the launch of two new modules based on the u-blox F9 high-precision GNSS platform. Among them, the low-power NEO-F9P module can help mobile industrial machinery to achieve accurate navigation and autonomous operation, and the ZED-F9P-15B module provides customers in the mobile robot market with an alternative solution in the L1/L5 band, thus providing a strong complement to the L1/L2 band products.
The new u-blox NEO-F9P GNSS module can receive GPS, Galileo and Beidou satellite signals simultaneously, supports multi-band L1/L5 RTK, and has the advantages of short convergence time and high reliability. The NEO-F9P module achieves centimeter-level accuracy in just a few seconds, and uses a compact package to make the module smaller, only 1/2 the size of the u-blox ZED series package.
Thanks to its compact package, ultra-low power consumption and compatibility with ANN-MB1 antennas, the NEO-F9P is suitable for a wider range of applications, including accurate navigation and autonomous operation of smart antennas, drones and mobile robots. The NEO-F9P module is positioned reliably and efficiently, and supports open and standards-based calibration services such as the u-blox PointPerfect GNSS Enhancement Service, further improving performance.
