Vishay introduces rectifier in DFN3820A package

Vishay's 200 V FRED Pt ultra fast rectifier comes in a thin DFN3820A package. These devices offer 1 A, 2 A, 3 A, and 5 A current ratings, up to more than double that of the equivalent 200 V FRED Pt SMP (DO-220AA) package.

The rectifier is characterized by low leakage current, low forward voltage drop and low power loss. These devices also include wettable flanks that can be easily detected by AOI (Automatic Optical Detection) without X-ray examination. These rectifiers have an ultra-thin profile of 0.88mm (making them ideal for self-mount) and comply with the AEC-Q101 and Vishay automotive grade standards.
